Why do we buy kids toys? They'd rather just play with the boxes they come in. Or the paper they're wrapped in. Or even with the tags sewn on them. We've all seen babies naughtily paying more attention to the wrapping paper on Christmas morning than to the expensive contents therein. Well, around here, it seems the tags on toys have proven to be the favorite. All 3 of my boys have been known to ignore the colorful, lively parts of their toys only to be seen having a grand ol' time with the tag on the back. Thinking myself smart, I bought one of my boys a tag-toy. It's the lion in the center of the photo above. See the the mane made out of tag-like bits of material? Perfect, right? Ha! What did this little boy do with it? He turned it over, looked it up and down, and proceeded to play with the actual tag protruding from its rump! Oh well. At least he played with it, I guess!
