The other day, Mommy, Finn, Owen, and Eli got an official invitation to visit Daddy at his Fire Station to have dinner with the crew. You can imagine the excitment this created in Finn especially. We got dressed, packed, and buckled into the car and set off to check out what Daddy does at work. Finn spent literally an hour with the Engineer, asking numerous questions about each knob, pull, and button he saw, and Owen spent his time crawling up and down the steps that led to the front door. He has his priorities! Eli hung out with Mommy, and Daddy was the cook on duty. We were treated to his famous Bleu Cheese Burgers, Beans, Salad, and Owen's favorite: Peas! What a meal, and what great guys to hang out with. Each Firefighter spent time chatting with Finn, playing with Owen and were generally welcoming and friendly. We are so proud of our Daddy, and we are so glad we got to get a peek inside the life of a Firefighter!

I can only imagine what it was like watching Finn nonstop talk with the engineer about the engine... he was probably asking more questions that I could even come up with!

Finn, towards the end of the engine conversation, looked at this LARGE panel of knobs and stated to the engineer, "I just have one more questions- What are ALL these used for?" Note: He asked this as he waved his full arm around in a circle to include every single knob! Hilarious!
